FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your experience?

Since 2007, I've photographed everything from people, to products, to food, real estate and weddings. I've worked with international brands and photographed thousands of people for portrait studios in Danbury, Westport, and Greenwich. I feel that those experiences allow me to bring a unique level of expertise to your wedding.

What is your approach to photographing a wedding?

My philosophy guides my approach, which is part documentary and part fine art portraiture. Your enjoyment is my primary concern, so I really try to stay out of the way as much as possible! At the same time, I can give you the direction you need and will always make myself available to you and your guests. For example, when you're getting ready before the ceremony, I'll work discreetly to capture every special moment, but for group photos of your wedding party, a more proactive approach may be required. Of course, when it's just the two of you, it's important to leave room for some spontaneity, which is crucial to creating beautiful, natural photos.

What are your prices?

Prices start at $2,400 with Maria and a second photographer for up to 8 hours. We do our best to work with every budget and concessions are often made for weekday and off-season weddings. Please get in touch and I'd be happy to provide you with detailed pricing information!

What is included?

As a baseline, you will receive the high resolution digital images from your wedding (yours to print and share). They're processed for optimal color and contrast, receiving further treatment if you order prints or an album. The images are delivered in an online gallery within six weeks of your wedding, where you'll download them for safekeeping and optionally purchase prints from our professional lab. Add-ons include a second photographer, rehearsal dinner coverage, albums, and more. Just tell us what you're looking for!

Do you work with a second photographer?

I work with a great second photographer and solo, depending on the needs of your wedding. Some are more elaborate than others, with events happening in multiple locations or a large number of guests, and a second photographer can help in those cases.

Have you worked at my venue before?

I've photographed weddings at many venues in Connecticut and New York. If I haven't been to yours, I always research it thoroughly and check it out in person, if possible. As a photographer, I get just as excited about discovering and exploring a new place as you would when making vacation plans for the Summer!

Do you travel?

I'm located in Connecticut and am available for weddings throughout New England and beyond. There is no extra charge for travel unless an overnight stay is required. Destination weddings in certain locations will have no travel fee whatsoever!

Are you insured?

Yes! I can also provide a certificate of insurance to your venue, if they require one.
